TPACK: I enjoy using technology and I use it

extensively in my everyday lessons.

However, I sometimes find it a challenge
to incorporate the latest technologies
with pedagogy and content in my lessons,
that is why my TPACK is small in
comparison to my TCK, PCK and TPK. It
takes time to learn and adjust to the new
tools and there have been times when my
focus shifts away from content and
pedagogy because I am trying to use the
new and cool technology. As a result the
outcome of my lesson does not meet my
objective. I believe that teachers should
use technologies in the classroom but
finding an equal balance with content and
pedagogy is not always a simple task. My
goal is to eventually have all 3 outer
circles and my overlaps in equal balance.

Pedagogy: Throughout my years
of teaching Spanish in higher
education I have adopted many
different processes, practices
and methods of teaching. I
feel my content and pedagogy
are about the same now
because of my teaching
experience.

Technology: I am comfortable
with using technology in the
classroom, however my circle is
smaller because I am
constantly having to keep up
with new technology and there
are times when I find it
overwhelming and I dont
always have time to learn the
new technology and
implement it in my teaching.
