Show Week

Dear parents and caregivers,

Next week is sure to be a very busy one with two major rehearsals
(including the dress rehearsal) and four performances.

We will also be performing our dance for the school at Fridays assembly
(6
th
June) and it would be great (but not absolutely necessary) if you
could have your costumes ready for then.

Wednesday 11

Thursday 12
th
June Dress rehearsal: 8:00am 5:45pm

*If you are meeting at school to transport/be transported you
will need to arrive by 7:15am
Friday 13
th
June Matinee performance: 8:30am 1:45pm

Night performance: 4:30pm 10:15pm

*During the break you are able to leave and come back if
you wish. I will be staying at the event during this break if you
would prefer to stay and we will order pizza for an early
dinner. Please bring $4 on the day if you would like pizza.
Saturday 14

June 1pm 10pm
*There is no break on this day.
Location: Newcastle Entertainment Centre (Broadmeadow)

Meeting and pick-up
point:
All students must be dropped off and picked up from
inside the gates, so please allow time to park.
We will meet to the right of the entrance (preferably
under the shelter).

Dress: Casual dress Ensure you have warm clothes packed
as the evenings get very cold.
You must bring your costume including ballet flats for
princesses and black shoes for princes on Thursday. We
will store all costumes in the holding area until Saturday
evening.


Food: All lunch, snacks and drinks will need to be packed in
your childs bag. The canteen will be open over the
four days/nights.
Transport: Please ensure you inform me as soon as possible if you
require transport to or from the event. These
arrangements must be organised by TUESDAY 10
th
June.
We will not be able to organise transport after this date.
If you are able to assist with transporting students to or
from the events please fill in the relevant sections on
the attached permission slip.
Medical conditions: If your child has a medical condition that requires
medicine of any kind please ensure you provide them
or me with their medicine on the day.
Activities/comfort: As there are very long waits between items you will
need to bring some games to keep you entertained.
Please do not bring valuable electronics as we are not
able to take responsibility for anything that get
damaged or lost.

I also suggest that you bring a pillow and/or blankets to
site on.


Thank you so much for your support and we look forward to you seeing
our fabulous dancers in action.

If you have not yet bought ticket I highly encourage you to do so as soon
as possible. Our dancers will perform on the right and side (as you look at
the stage) towards the front.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to see me any day
after school.
