Welcome back!

Well we are back with a bang! I hope you all had a fantastic Easter
break! As ever we have a packed term in front us with some very
exciting opportunities for the school! We will also be recruiting the
schools new Headteacher before the half term break.
The build is on schedule and beginning to look really great! Hang on
tight its going to be an exiting one!

Reminder
SATS week is the w/c 12th May 2014. Tea and Toast will be available to all Year 6 children
for the whole of that week from 8 am and we would urge them to attend. SATs can NOT be
taken at any other time so please ensure that your child attends, punctually on every day of
this week. If you have any questions or concerns please call in for a chat!

Spelling Bee!
Well it has been an amazing few weeks! The
whole school have shown such enthusiasm and
commitment taking part in the Spelling Bee
competition! Well done to everyone who took
part! Yesterday was the grand final! Our 2014
Spelling Bee Champions areAlicia Hamilton
and Elizabeth Ogunrinde! A HUGE well done
to both girls! I cant wait for next years
competition!

The VERY hungry caterpillar!
F1 have had a very busy first week back finding out
all about the very hungry caterpillar! Have a look on
their blog to find out more!

New Teachers in Year 4!
Year 4 had a visit from some Horizon students this week who took the role of
teachers! They really stretched their learning muscles, and learnt a lot about Tollund
Man. A GREAT afternoon was had by all! Thank you to the staff and students from
Horizon who came to support!
