Lyndon Green Junior School

An amazing week brings the term to a close. Our classes have all been involved in so many activities this week, with trips to the Thinktank and Drayton Manor, Cafes and Viking Fayres. It shows how we work until the very last minute. All this has resulted in so many tired children. I hope that you all have a very restful holiday over the next two weeks and I look forward to welcoming you back on Tuesday 29th April at 8:50

Easter Holiday Play Scheme! Lyndon Kidzone will be holding an Easter holiday play scheme from Monday 14th April to Thursday 17th April. There are two sessions available:

Your Children! Having been involved in so many visits etc this week, I just wanted to say how fabulously they represent our school when out on sporting events, school visits and musical performances. The children are a real credit to you. I just wanted to say thank you! Dinner Payments! As from Tuesday 29th April, the cost of dinners will be increasing to the new cost of 2.05 per day, meaning that the weekly cost of dinners will now be 10.25 Football Kits! Could we please ask that all football kits are returned to school on the rst week back after the holiday. This will allow us to make sure that we have enough kits and to locate those that are currently missing. Attendance News! Attendance stands at 96.64% for this week. Thank you everyone 5th place 6G - 97.22% 4th place 4B & 3E - 98.33% 3rd place 5E - 98.61% 2nd place 6C - 99.14%% 1st place 4D - 100% Brilliant attendance again!!!!!! !

8-10 am Breakfast Club @ 3 per child 10 - 2.45 @ 10 per child Activities include an Easter hunt, park visit, craft activities and a mystery trip!! If you are interested please call 07516104812 to book your place. Next Term! The term starts on Tuesday 29th April and only lasts for 4 weeks. There is a public Bank Holiday on Monday 5th May. The Year 6 children will sit their SATs tests on the week beginning 12th May for 4 days. We then break up again on Friday 23rd May. As you can see it really is a strange half term.

Half Term Attendance! A brilliant whole school attendance of 97.65% with Class 5E being the best attenders with 99.18% Spring Term Attendance! The attendance from the start of January to now is an amazing 97.34% With the best class in the school being Class 5E with 98.72%! Well done Class 5E, keep it up!
