Reading Students will finish fables, folktales and myths this week. We will also begin reading Because of Winn Dixie.
We will continue writing in our Reading Response Journal this week. Please refer to the directions glued to the inside
cover of your students !ournal if needed.
Spelling Spelling will be introduced later this month.
Writing We started talking about the writing process and going through the steps writing about our summer adventures.
Math We will finish up with addition strategies. "here will be a short #ui$ on "uesday, and then we will go on to

Science Students will finish up with the scientific method. "hey will complete one short e'periment, take a #ui$, and
then we will introduce the S"(% process with a fairytales S"(% activity.
