Dear Parent:
Recognizing that learning can take place in environments outside of the
classroom, your son or daughter will be participating in learning activities on
school field trips. For your child to participate, we need your
permission and hereby ask you to relieve St. Paul Lutheran School of all
obligations in the event of an injury to your son or daughter in these
activities. This includes riding in cars driven by parents or walking. If there
are any questions, please contact the teacher in charge of the activity.
GRADE: 7th & 8th Grades

TEACHER: Mrs. Wade & Mr. Whirrett

WHERE: The 7th & 8th grades will be going to the YMCA for 6 weeks of swimming
classes. They begin on September 8 th and continue through October 13th. 7th grade will
be at the YMCA from 1-2 pm and 8 th grade will be there from 2-3 pm each week on
Monday. All students must bring a swimsuit and towel each week. Girls must wear a
suit that fully covers the midriff.
Swimming is taken as a part of the PE grade. Students who do not go swimming, unless
excused by a doctors note, will earn a zero for the day in PE.
