What did we learn this week?
Reading: We have been learning about
community helpers. Our sight words for
the week were I and can. We learned
about letters s-z.
Math: We reviewed numbers 0-10. We
sorted pattern blocks, made a counting
book, practiced counting with beads, and
played compare (war card game).
Discovery: We are learning all about
community helpers. We had a firefighter,
EMT, police officer, and chef talk to us
about their jobs! We are so thankful for
all they do for our community!

Sight words: the, we
Math: 2D Shapes
Discovery: Our 5 senses

Homework
Today is the last day for handwriting
homework. I will send a homework
calendar for the month of September by
the end of next week. It is to be turned
in at the end of the month.
