Reading: We read rhyming books and built

our stamina for Daily 5-word work. We
learned about letters I-R. We learned sight
words I and can.
Math: We learned how to count and
write numbers 6-10. We explored
patterned blocks and cubes in math
centers. We also learned to play compare
(aka War) card game.
Discovery: We learned all about our
colors. We painted with primary colors. We
were also scientist and did a walking water
mixing colors experiment.
Community Help Fashion Show
Friday, September 11 at 12:45 we will have a
community helper fashion show in our
classroom. Students are to dress up as
what they want to be when they grow up.
You dont have to buy a costume; you can
make it with things from around your
home. Parents are invited to attend.
