3. Chair and Minutes

Luke to write up the minutes of the meeting.

4. Check-in
5. Purpose

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the membership drive and other projects.

6. APSWA (Animal Protection of WA Inc)

This event will be run by Arlene Ooi and will commence on the 17th of August.
The club members who are attending will need to be there by 10:00am until 1:00pm.
Arlene and Waverly will organize treats for the cats at the shelter.
Everyone will need to wear enclosed shoes and long pants on the day as well as bring $5.00
for food.

7. JCLA

Janet Moore has suggested promoting the club in not only Curtin University but also other
local universities in the area (Murdoch etc).
Eeshwar will follow up with this event and invite us to attend.

9. Fundraising

Arlene has suggested that our club organizes an anime marathon revolving around "Attack
on Titan". This would take place at Curtin University in one of the lecture theater rooms.
The event will go from the 13th of September to the 14th of September.
Arlene will speak to AniCu in order to negotiate funding as well as a split of responsibilities.
Natalie will volunteer to do a poster for the event.
The estimated price for the event would be around $10.00 a ticket but no alcohol for the
night. Luke will ask a friend to be a possible bouncer for the night.

10. Relay for Life

Everyone in the club will need to nominate themselves for this event as there needs to be a
team of six members.
The deadline is the 20th of August.

11. Treasurers' Report

Wilhelm will send the treasurers report to Luke so that it can be added to the minutes.

12. Other Business

As discussed by the club members, the event "Climb for a Smile" will be postponed for a
future project.
