Industrial Report:
Each student is required to write a comprehensive report about the seminar/Industrial visit. The
report should consist of minimum 15 to 20 pages describing the topic selected. The report should
be in the format as described below. It is important that you adhere to these guidelines.
1. ARRANGEMENT OF CONTENTS:
The sequence in which the Seminar report material should be arranged and bound should
be as follows:

2. Page Dimension and binding specifications:
The dimension of the seminar report should be in A4 Size. The report should be spiral bind.
3. Typing Instructions:
One and a half spacing should be used for typing the general text, in Times New Roman,
with font size 12. Heading font size is 16 Bold & subheading font size is 14 bold.
3.1. Abstract: Abstract should be strictly one page synopsis, it should summarize the aims,
conclusions and implications of the topic of your seminar.
3.2. Table of Contents: For generating Table of Contents, use MS Word tool available in
references tab of MS word.
3.3. Description about Industrial Visit: This can be divided into three parts first as
Introduction that is developing the main theme of the topic, second is literature
review of the topic selected and third is summary/ conclusions.
3.4. References: Use inert citation tab for creating bibliography / references from MS
Word tool, in the references tab(open word, go to references tab)
