SAFTY MESURES OF TCC/CTCC

He will be insure that,


1. No running staff has gone on duty without Breathalyzer test.
2. No running staff is booked before their rest completes.
3. Running staff has proper LRD (Learning Road) of the section in which train is to be
worked.
4. Necessary Competency Certificate is available with the L.P., A.L.P. & Shunter
separately such as Automatic section, Loco Training & LRD of section.
5. Running staff has taken sufficient rest as prescribed in operating Manual.
(a) For Running Duty of 8 hrs or more
- 16 Hrs rest at H.Q.
(b) For Running Duty of 8 hrs or more
- 8 Hrs rest at out Station
(c) For Running Duty of less than 8 hrs.
- 12 Hrs rest at HQ
(d) For Running Duty of less than 8 hrs.
2/3rd of duty performed staff may
be permitted to sign for rest at out stations to the extent of 6 hrs. if they so desire.
6. Running staff should have complete set of tools as prescribed in operating / ACTM
manual (HSL , Detonators , Screw Driver, Hammer, Wooden wedges, Red & Green
Flags, G&SR Book , Operating & Accident Manual, Working Time Table, TSD etc.)
7. Running staff should have knowledge of handling PET Telephone.
8. Pet socket provided in lobby are in proper working order
9. 4 periods of not less than 30 consecutive hours each or 5 periods of not less than 22
consecutive hours each in a month should be given with night in bed.
10. Continuous night duty should not normally exceed 6 nights at a stretch.
11. Fire extinguishers are available in Lobby and not due date.
12. Walkie-talkie and its charger are working provided in Lobby.
13. All the abnormality reported by crew like signal/track/loco defect & any other unusual has
been reported to TLC and its feedback has been received.
14. Charge has been properly fill up.
15. Two set of spectacle are available if prescribed by Doctor.
16. First aid box are available
