The County WI Quiz
Heage WI came 9th against fierce competition. Well done ladies.
Competition Table June meeting
Congratulations to Kathy for her win again in May. To date, Kathy is leading
with 8 points. Karen has 3 points, Ursula, Ann P and Janette have 2 points
and closely behind are Kay, and Sally with 1 point each.
Dont forget to bring something connected with Life begins this month.
County Show Sunday 22nd June
Please visit the WI tent. The WI baton will be there too.
Centenary Baton in Derbyshire
Wednesday 18th June to Wednesday 25th June 2014.

Walk across the Chevin Saturday 28 June
The walk across the Chevin will be lead by Adrian Farmer. It
starts at 2 pm from the Millhouse at Milford.

Heage St Lukes Church - Flower Festival June 28 & 29
Theme Behold the Sea. 4 members have volunteered to help
create an arrangement for the Heage WI entry. Thank you.

Barge Trip Thursday 10th July 6pm for 6.30pm

Outstanding payments are now due.
You will need to supply your own food and drink for this event. If anyone
would like to make a fuddle list please do so and pass it round.
40 Years of Derbyshire House
A booklet is to be published in June 2014 celebrating the 40th
anniversary of the opening of Derbyshire House.

Bakewell Show Dabble Table Weds 6th &Thurs 7th August
Heage WI has been asked by the Chair of the Show Sub-Committee if anyone
would like to help on the Dabble Table at Bakewell Show (probably icing and
decorating biscuits). Sheila is looking for 4 volunteers each day. If you would
like to help, have a look on our information table. Places are limited.
DFWI Carol Service Celebrating a festive weekend.
Fri 5th and Sat 6th December 2014 at Chesterfield.
With overnight stay, evening meal and pantomime. Learn more
at our meeting and on the information table.
