Winning Performance in 3rd Challenge Cup Inter School Basketball Tournament 2014

Congratulations for an outstanding performance by the youth brigade of DPSG in the recently
conducted Inter School Basketball Tournament for boys and girls. This three day long event
began on November 18, 2014. There were 13 teams for the boys group and 7 girls teams from
various schools of Delhi and NCR to participate in this tournament.The competition was really
tough and the participants of all the teames competed with zeal and enthusiasm. Each team
performed brilliantly.
The boys team of DPSG continued its dominating performance and defeated DDPS,
Govindpuram by 49-33 to lift the coveted Championship trophy.Tushar scored 20 points and was
declared Best Player.
In the girls category, DPSG and DDPS, Govindpuram played the final match. The team of
DPSG fought hard and was declared the Runner up.
All the teams won wide appreciation for their brilliant performance. Principal, Mrs. Jyoti Gupta
congratulated the students on their performance and expressed her faith in their potentials to
achieve their goals.
