Utah Studies Final Project ABC Book

You will be creating a book that has a word relating to Utah from each letter of the
Alphabet. It can be done on the computer or by hand. If you do it by hand it still
must look nice. This project is a homework assignment worth 100 points and no
time will be given in class.
Below are the requirements, keep this paper it will be your rubric.
1. Must have a front cover with a title, your name, period. A picture is
optional, but they do make a cover look more interesting.
2. Must have a back cover, you can just have a piece of paper, or put pictures
on the back. Its up to you.
3. A dedication page to a person of your choosing.
4. When it comes to the actually pages in the book themselves you must
have.
a. The letter of the alphabet for that page.
b. The word relating to Utah you used for that letter.
c. A picture about that word. You can have the picture take up part of
the page, or the whole page. Its up to you.
d. Then 1-2 sentences explaining and describing the word you chose.
5. Lastly the book needs to be colorful, if you only have black and white
printer you can use colored pencils or markers to add color to the book.
When it comes to binding the book you can do it however you want.
Such as.
1. Binder
2. Folder with prongs
3. Go to a copy store and have it bound
4. Staple the pages together like a book.
5. Tie it with yarn.
The possibilities are endless and its between you and your parents money what you
can do.
