Troop 115 Committee Meeting

To Do’s in red
Present: Rick, Mike, Linda, Carrie, Nancy, Brad and Bob

SCOUTMASTER REPORT-Rick
Dak’s Week-end: 26 boys and 10 adults and 7 potential new scouts (5 from Pack 115 and 1 from Pack 103 and a friend
of Garrett Porter).
Nick Killian came out. Camp Grayling donated snowshoes and snow skis and the boys tried them out. The boys also had
fun with snowball wars and tomahawk throwing. Chris Shively brought out 5 poplar targets.

Tents. The 6 backpacking tents came in.

Lanterns. Picked up 2 lanterns and hard protective cases. Still need mantels, propane tanks and an adapter to refill
small propane tanks

December 21st Meeting. Meet at Rick’s house at 7 p.m. Walk down to Tim Coggins house for sledding. Pick up at 9 p.m.
Bob to send out email reminder. Rick to call Andrew Selby to make reminder phone calls.

December 28. Tubing Party at Holiday Hills from 7 – 9 p.m. Troop to cover the cost of tubing. Scouts to pay for pizza
and pop/hot chocolate. Plan to invite the Webelos.

Polar Bear in January. Sean and Brett to plan.

Kondike Derby in February in Cadillac. Alan in charge of this event. There will be a can food drive.

Gaylord Lock in. March 20

OUTDOOR ACTIVITY COORDINATOR-Bob

Optimist Club and Space Exploration Merit badge scheduled for same week-end in April. We will do both and let the
boys decide which they would like to attend.

Oleson Island. Scheduled for February.

ADVANCEMENT COORDINATOR-Carrie
Brach Och has been added
Phil Loew has been added
Kyle Ludwig has been added
Chris and Carrie now Assistant Scout Masters.
Brett has been changed to adult member
Mike Wyers has earned electricity and pioneering
Ryan Henige has earned fingerprinting
Ryan is now 2nd class
Garret Porter is now a Scout

Carrie and Rick to work on the ReChartering

Carrie to check on the Mother’s pin ribbons.

Rick to email Linda a new list of current scouts.
