Due to the increasing pressure for energy efficiency the design engineer wil ‘advite the design team to minimise the use of incandescent iuminaries. The use of high frequency control gear in fluorescent luminaries will become standard practice. Where it it practicable, the use of dimmable high frequency fluorescent control gear. with related dimming equipment is to be encouraged. A comprehensive lighting control system shall be provided front and back of house areas to control energy usage.
