1. Limited histology. Know structures associated with neural slides and


muscle slides.
2. Evaluation of the special senses. Tests of vision, hearing, equilibrium,
taste, and smell.
3. Understand the basis for the EMG tests and be familiar with results of
various experimental circumstances.
4. Be prepared to recognize major bones and their features in both
articulated and disarticulated skeletons.
5. Recognize the major body joints; know the functional type of each, and the
movements allowed. (Table 13.1)
6. Recognize the major muscles throughout the body.
Physio Ex: Skeletal Muscle Physiology
Understand the graded muscle response, treppe, wave summation, and
muscle fatigue and know what steps were taken for the computer
simulation in each case. Distinguish isometric and isotonic contractions.
