**#** INSPECTOR-RIKATI®, as a CONSTITUTIONALIST I take the view that the Union
Jack is our real flag, however the way the Commonwealth of Australia is being governed we are
more like a BANANA REPUBLIC. And, in 2002 I published a book about this also in the
INSPECTOR-RIKATI® series on certain constitutional and other legal issues.

* Why did you invert the colours of the Union Jack?

**#** I didn’t want to offend the real flag usage. Constitutionally Australians are “Subjects of the
British Crown” and are like it or not British nationals. Just that the British government and the
Commonwealth of Australia pretend otherwise. But that is another long story.
