WELCOME TO FIRST

GRADE WITH MS.

MUNSON!
I hope you have had a great summer and are
ready to get back to school and LEARN! I look
forward to meeting you! I am confident you
will have a fantastic year. I have been busy
planning lessons and activities that will
challenge you to grow both academically and
socially. You are now a member of Team
Munson!
Remember, Open House is scheduled for
Friday, August 21st from 6-7:30p.m. You may
meet me, visit our classroom, and get
acquainted with your classmates at this time.
During the Open House, I will go over the
content we will be learning this year such as
molecules and organisms, Earths place in
the universe, engineering design, waves and
their applications in technologies, just to
name a few.
The first day of school is Monday, August
24th. We will begin the year by creating our
classrooms social contract, reviewing

important rules and procedures, and

evaluating important skills. Enjoy the
remainder of your summer. I will see you
soon!
