Statement of the Problem:

The project is all about the system of education today. We

will further analyze the situation about which is better:
the old curriculum or the k to 12 curriculum. We will prove
that the k to 12 curriculum is much better than the old
system of teaching
The PROS
-To

enhance

the

quality

of

basic

education

in

the

Philippines. The quality of basic education is the reason

that students do not get adequate instructional time or time
on task.
-This quality of education is reflected in the inadequate
preparation of high school graduates for the world of work.
The CONS
-Parents have to shell out more money for the education of
their

children.

DepEd

must

first

solve

the

lack

of

classrooms, furniture and equipment, qualified teachers, and

error-free textbooks.
-While students are stuck in Grades 11 and 12, colleges and
universities will have no freshmen for two years. This will
spell financial disaster for many private HEIs.
Hypothesis:
The K to 12 or new Curriculum is much better than the old
curriculum because of the improved teaching method, easier
subject

and

more

teaching

facilities

than

the

old

curriculum. And this new curriculum may help the students to

find jobs more easier.
