Dear Parents/Guardians,
As you know, the second trimester ends tomorrow, Friday, March 13, 2015; therefore, to ensure that the last
trimester runs smoothly, here are some reminders and changes to take note of:
1) Office Hours
a. Office hours will be canceled for the next two weeks.
b. Office hours will resume after Spring Break on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 3-5pm (in Room
14 and 15) and Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 3-4pm (in Room 15).
i. Office hours will by invitation only. We will send home a notice with your student if s/he
is invited to office hours for Tuesdays and Thursdays.
2) S&M Bucks
a. On Monday, March 23, 2015, all students will receive 10 S&M Bucks for the new trimester.
Students can also earn at least 1 Buck for being at school on time to shake our hands. Again,
S&M Bucks will be taken away from students for: No Homework, Bathroom, Inappropriate
Behavior, and/or Not Following Directions. Should students run out of S&M Bucks, they will
receive detention.
3) Homework
a. English
i. Reading Summary Entries should be completed nightly on a separate sheet of paper.
ii. Homework should be signed by parent/guardian. Please check that students are writing
complete sentences, do not sign off on homework if students do not restate the question
in their answer.
b. Math
i. Homework should be signed by parent/guardian. Please check to make sure that students
show all of their work before signing off on homework.
4) Progress Reports
a. Progress reports are sent home every 2-3 weeks, so please make sure that you review them with
your student, sign them, and then have your student return them to us.
5) Online Gradebooks
a. Go to: sacprep.quickschools.com to check your students grade online daily/weekly.
