Tutors evaluation of the students professional learning at the end of the practise

Emma has worked hard at meeting her goals while she has been at our department. She was a
little shy at first, but quickly gained confidence. She has been communicating well in Finnish
with our patients and showed respect and patience when working with them. Throughout the
clinical placement, Emma has reflected on her own and others thoughts and actions, and has
displayed empathy and a good understanding of complex situations within nursing care. She has
also gained basic practical experience with taking care of patients needs as well as the handling
of medicine.

All in all, Emma has been very forthcoming during the stay at our department. She has taken
responsibility for her own education, asked questions and challenged our practices in a
constructive way. Emma has met her goals to my satisfaction and I wish her all the best onwards.
