RE: Melvin Toledo
This is a recommendation letter for Melvin Toledo. Mr. Toledo was my former nursing
student in the Pediatric clinical rotation at Kapi'olani Community College during Fall
2014.
I am a Faculty/Clinical Instructor for the Pediatric clinical rotation at Kapiolani
Community College Associate in Science Degree Nursing Program. The clinical location
site took place at Tripler Army Medical Center.
During clinical, Mr. Toledo came to clinical well prepared, comprehended assigned
patients pathophysiology and able to incorporate appropriate nursing priorities in care.
Also, he is aware to practice within her scope of practice as a student nurse,
communicated effectively with primary RN, myself and caregivers; and has been able to
maintain professionalism amongst the staff.
I highly recommend Mr. Toledo for a position in your unit. She will be a great addition.
