To whom this may concern:

I have known Anika Davis for approximately 2 years as a student in the

Baccalaureate Program (BSW) in the School of Social. As a student she
proved to be exemplary in her quest for knowledge related to the field of
social work.
Anika maintained a B or better average in her classes within the BSW
Program. Anika she was able to demonstrate her of knowledge related to all
levels of practice her understanding the impact of external systems on the
individual as well as the actions and transactions which mediate individual
action and the impact of various systems on the individual, family,
organizations and communities.
As my student, Anika was a good citizen. She was a consummate
professional; was rarely absent from class, was never late and completed all
assignments on time. Anika was also an active class participant contributing
to classroom discussion by asking for points of clarification, providing
opinions, and often clarifying what was said by the Instructor. Anika also
exhibited leadership skills to the extent she was always available to her
peers when they requested help from her. She encouraged them to do their
best even in the face of their frustration.
It should be noted Anika has very good verbal and written communication
skills.
Over the course of her professional education Anika demonstrated a deep
concern and appropriate intervention strategies to strengthen the
functioning her client population.
I believe Anika will be a productive member of our profession and will
represent it well.
