HOW DID YOU ATTRACT/ADDRESS YOUR AUDIENCE

Existing Media Products

When looking at similar films that are on the television we found several that we think fit our
opening sequence genre. When looking the DVD covers below I can see that they are very
appealing to the audience as they display the main characters involved in the film. Some of
them contain major scenes, for example Brick Mansions has a car scene and Cell 211 displays
the Prison Takeover scene.

Advertising Our Opening

When we finished our opening sequence we decided to use word

of mouth and social media to advertise and let our friends know
about our new film. I also posted it on YouTube where people
could view our Opening sequence from a computer or mobile
device. We also used Facebook and linked the YouTube video

When thinking about
the best place to put my opening sequence I would decide to
feature it on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter and
YouTube because these sites are popular amongst the age group
of my target audience so it would be an effective way of
attracting them to my product
