Dear Kristen Donham,
Congratulations! You havebeen recognized as a Stellar Teacher Achieving Results
(STAR) by your administrator, Area Director, and ESS. Thank you for your supreme
efforts to continue to deliver excellent instruction for the students in Garland ISD.
Our goal is to support beginning teachers and provide the opportunity to excel and grow
in our great profession, and you can help us achieve this goal by agreeing to be a part of
our list of STARs. Beginning teachers are required to observe/shadow their mentors
and/or STARs, and we want to know if you would be willing to share your expertise with
the beginning teachers of Garland ISD?
If agreed, your name, campus, and area of excellence will be posted on the Teachers
Need Teachers (TNT-district mentoring program) website and intranet. The beginning
teachers will then have the option to contact you and schedule a time to visit. I hope we
can count on you to help us provide support for our beginning teachers in Garland ISD.
