With referenceto the above,lt may pleasebe recalledthat Eleconhas agreedand committedto
completemost of the criticalCivilworks by the end of May-2015and all balanceCivilworks by
Aug.-2015.
In this contextwe would liketo humblysubmitthe followingfor you kind perusaland
consideration.
1.. Theworkscommittedto be completedin may includesretainingwall for pS-1involvingabout750
Cum of RCCand expenditureof about Rs.1.50crores.lt also includeshead end & Tail end belt
turn over structuresand HGTUstructuresinvolvingabout 450 cum of RCCand expenditureof
about Rs.1.00crores.We do not haveany provisionfor billingin our approvedbillingschedule
for both the above works. To completethe above adequateand matching funds are urgently
required.

2 . Eventhough the civil works for substationSS-1are beingexecutedon prioritybasisand lot of

expenditurehasalreadybeenincurredby us,we are un ableto raisebillsagainstthe sameas the
works could not be completedin full shapedue to many interfaceswith electricaland erection
worksresultingin lockingof funds.
3. Substantialfunds are requiredto be spent for procurementof Doors,windows and rolling
shuttersfor SS-1,SS-3,pH-1,& pH-2.
4. we were not given sufficientwork front during this summer working seasondue to various
reasonslike non availability
of approveddrawingsand non availability
of workingfrontsfor civil
worksdue to their interfaceswith in completeerectionworks.As a resultwe are likely
to land up
in a situationwhere we will be forced to executebulk of the balancecivil works
in monsoon
periodinvolvingmore expenditure.
