Film Studies A2: Synopsis

Working Title: Out

Aim
The ideas in the short film deal with the theme of escape. As with
the two films in my textual analysis in which the main characters are
dealing with the issue of escaping of the harsh life of living in the
hood. My own protagonist has to deal with trying to escape from
the decisions he made in the past, which is now consuming him.
Synopsis
A young man is sitting a lone in his home when he receives a
message he quickly replies to the message and puts his phone down
and wonders around the room. Soon after the doorbell rings and a
young boy is with a package to be delivered to him. He takes the
package and slams the door rushing straight to his phone and
sending a message, he then opens up the package and he is
shocked at what inside of it. Hesitating he grabs the package spilling
some of its contents on the floor and runs straight to the toilet
flushing the rest of it down the toilet. He sends a picture of this to
the unknown receiver getting a reply almost instantaneously he
rushes to his bedroom and franticly starts putting some clothes in a
bag. Grabbing some money he heads out of the house covering his
face. Unbeknownst to him as he makes his way down the road a car
slowly follows him. Realising this he makes a run for it but he is shot
in the process.
