The theme of the 2015 Samaritan Inn banquet, Together We Can, emphasized the work we do
together as the Body of Christ to cultivate friendships and bring healing for our precious Samaritan
Inn families. Highlights of the evening included testimonies by two of our long time volunteers who
beautifully expressed their experiences ministering to some of these families. We also heard how
some donors, hotels, and churches have welcomed our families with open arms and hearts during
their stay in Montgomery while loved ones undergo treatment in area hospitals.

We were delighted with the turnout on a rainy Tuesday

evening. The silent auction and fundraiser that took place
throughout the night raised over $2700.00 that will go towards
hotel expenses of families who come to Montgomery this next
year. Our desire is to extend comfort and care to our
Samaritan Inn families as they encounter suffering. Your
generous gifts enable us to share the love of Christ in
moments when individuals are facing deep crisis. We thank
you for your support of Samaritan Inn Ministry.
Special thanks to Billy Irvin for being our MC again this year,
Janet Wheat and volunteers for making and serving a
scrumptious meal, Taylor Road Baptist for hosting the
banquet and the many contributors for the silent auction. We
eagerly anticipate how the Lord will continue to use the outpouring of love given at the banquet.
