The Overland Park Police Department/Animal Control Unit would like your assistance in locating a dog involved in a reported dog bite. The incident took place in the area of W. 115th and King Streets on August 16, 2015 around 3:15 pm. The female victim was walking in the area when she came upon a small black canine. She tried to pet the dog and it bit her on the finger breaking the skin. She received minor first aid for her injury. The dog was described as small, gray in color, and was possibly a Yorkshire Terrier breed. The animal had no collar or tags and was last seen running north on King Street.
