Fatality Accident at 159th and Kenneth Road
On Tuesday, October 27th, 2015 around, 1:40 P.M. Overland Park Police Department responded
to an injury accident in the area of W 159th Street and Kenneth Road.
Upon arrival officers located two vehicles involved in the accident between W 159th Street and W
151st Street on Kenneth Road. As a result of the accident both drivers were transported to area
hospitals and one occupant was pronounced deceased on scene.
Preliminary investigation shows a passenger car was heading northbound on Kenneth Road and
lost control. A passenger truck heading southbound collided with the passenger cars passenger
side.
The Overland Park Police Traffic Safety Unit continues to investigate this accident.
