production was a stimulus response. The continued increased salivation, even when the dogs had
experienced hearing the bell without being later fed, was a conditioned reflex.
The entire process is a prime example of classical conditioning, and it is primarily related to a
physical and spontaneous response to some particular conditions that the organism has acquired
through association. Behaviorist theory has massively applied these landmark ideas for the
explanation of human behaviour.

Musicians son could face trial soon
The youngest son of musician and producer Ahmad Dhani Abdul Dul Qadir Jaelani
who has been named a suspect in connection with a toll road pileup on Sept. 8, 2013, will soon stand
trial as the police have given his dossier to prosecutors at the East Jakarta District Court.
Dul was named a suspect in a fatal car crash that claimed the lives of seven and left eight
others injured on the city toll road on Sept. 8. He was hospitalized for almost three weeks following
the crash and underwent five operations at Pondok Indah Hospital.
According to the police investigation, the accident occurred when Dul, who was driving his
car at a speed of 176 kilometers per hour, attempted to avoid hitting another car in front of him,
causing his vehicle to leap into the opposite lane and collide head-on with a minivan. Dul and his
friend were on their way back to Pondok Indah after bringing his girlfriend to Cibubur in East
Jakarta. He was not arrested, given that he was underage and given the strong commitment of his
father Ahmad Dhani to helping the victims of the crash and vowing to be cooperative with the police
and the court.
Dhani said he would not resist if the authorities wanted to detain his son as he understood
they had reasons for doing so. I have no objection and will not resist if my son is detained, but the
image of the Attorney Generals Office will be at stake if an underage suspect is detained, he said.
In his dossier, Dul was indicted for violating the 2009 Traffic Law, which carries a maximum
six years in prison. The police said the suspect did not have a driving license and he was driving
beyond the maximum speed of 80 kph on the toll road.
The National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas PA) has called on law enforcers to
drop charges against the underage suspect given that Dul was underage and that his father had shown
responsibility by helping the victims of the crash and their families.
