    ARTF 101 Industrial Design!

    - example of industrial design: Snooz!


    - industrial designers bridge the gap between scientists and producing their design!
    - must be clear about design, not just about style!
    - industrial design is different than graphic design!
    - overcoming linguistic barriers is important in ID!
    - must be OCD, productive, excessive, neurotic to be in ID!
    - visuals are important!
    - study natural human behavior to decide the best way to use the product!
    - color is important !
    - portability, ease of use, and innovative usage!
    - ID majors must be accustomed to giving presentations!
    - must understand peoples emotions!
    - ID is sketches, models, must be effective!
    - made thousands of designs!
    - ID has a goal to make things better people who have been historically overlooked
