    Diodes Rectifiers


    Objective: To study the rectifying circuits using semiconductor diodes


    I.
    Half wave rectifier Rectifiers

    a. Setup the circuit that is shown in the Figure 1.

    b. Sketch the sinusoidal input voltage in the area provided.
    c. Superimpose the measured Vout of the circuit.



    d. Discuss the measured Vout and how it is different from the supplied
    voltage



    II.

    Full wave rectifier



    a. Setup the circuit that is shown in the Figure 2.

    b. Sketch the sinusoidal input voltage in the area provided.
    c. Superimpose the measured Vout (across R1) of the circuit.



    d. Discuss the measured Vout and how it is different from the supplied
    voltage.
