This Weeks Focus: Review

What has been happening in our classrooms?

A warm welcome to both Jasmine (UK/Thailand) and Lucy (US/China)
in KY. Both girls are part-time for the time being.
After having some days with poor air pollution, the children finally
went out for a leaf hunt around the school. It was fun seeing them
picking leaves and at the same time singing the song Autumn Leaves
are Falling which they recently learned.
Thank you to the parents who came for the PYP Parent Math
Workshop on Thursday and to the parents who came to tell stories to
our children in our 1st Mother Tongue Story Telling on Friday. Your
presence was highly appreciated! It was nice to see everyone
prepared with the many books that were brought, and how eager
you were to share those beautiful stories.
This week, we will send the workbook home with all the artwork for
the first unit, Who we are. At the end of each unit, all the artwork
will be sent home so your child can reflect on what s/he has learned
and then share this with you. Hence, please expect more to come
throughout the year. Thank you!

Gentle reminders:
- P. E. uniform is mandatory for P.E. lessons. If your child
still doesnt have one, please send the order form to us
with your child. Alternatively, you can directly go to the
Uniform Store Room (just across from the hall in the
admin building) which is open from 8.30am 4.00pm.
For any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
