Week of 11/2: Continue Chapter 5: Addition, Review All letters, Sight words have and
look. Continue Journeys Unit 2: Blending beginning sounds with the remainder of words
to make words. (f, or = for/ j, am= ham/ n, et= net)
Week of 11/9: Finish Chapter 5 and take test, letters Jj & Uu, Sight words little &
play. Finish Journeys Unit 2: Blending word sounds to make words. (i/t= it, c/a/t=cat).

workbook pages assigned for
homework, do not worry. It is
probably an error on my part and
not yours .

Reminders:
** As the weather changes, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately or has
layers depending on the day.
**Please continue to work on your child with letters and sounds. They wil be assessed
periodically on these. I wil also begin sight words assessments in the next few weeks. Also
work on recognizing number and their number words.
