12/14- Polar Express Activities All Week
12/16- Reptile Show at School & Gift Exchange in Class
**Please remember a large bag for students to bring home gifts for
12/17- Students Last Day (Pajama Day and Watch Polar Express).
When we return to school in January, we wil being Chapter 7: Represent, Count, and Write 11 to
19. As well as, continue to work on addition and subtraction facts with missing addends. We wil also
continue to work on sight words, CVC words, and reading groups.

Sight Words to Focus On:

List 4, 5, & 6 are the
words we will focus on for
the third quarter. If your
child has mastered these
please continue to move
on. You can also have
students practice spelling
their sight words and not
just recognizing them.

Reminders:
** As the weather changes, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately or has
layers depending on the day.
**Please continue to work on Addition and Subtraction facts to 5. The students wil be
continually assessed on these.
**The more exposure your child has to reading at home, the better readers they wil become.
1-on-1 is the best! Also, we wil be working on comprehension questions with out reading.
