    Zachary Bergman

    Artist Statement
    As a musician, I am performing works of music that affect both the performer
    and audience emotionally. This is done by the production of pitch and how those
    pitches relate to each other. I am most passionate about this because music allows
    me to have a personal connection with the audience I am performing for. The idea
    that music creates a false world that feels truer than reality is a characteristic of all
    music. I want others to understand the incredible impact music can have on society
    and how music also can create an intense relationship with oneself. I am willing to
    discuss any aspect of my art and if there are any questions as to why I made certain
    decisions in regards to my art, I welcome any criticism.
