Title: Customer Service Representative / Systems
Description:
The University Housing Operations Department is looking for a Customer Service
Representative (CSR) who will work closely with the Systems team in the overall
management of University Housing System processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the Systems team to perform data entry, running reports, updating
information and ensuring adequate work flow.
At the direction of the Systems team, respond to student inquiries.
Handle archiving of documents and documenting housing processes.
Assist with billing reconciliations, system changes, student accounts issues,
and reporting.
The CSR may be asked to participate in department projects as needed.
Must learn and understand housing policies and procedures in order to field,
respond to, or escalate inquiries in a very busy office environment.
Must be able to pay close attention to detail and work independently.
Represent the employer in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
Assist in enhancing housing processes
Desired Qualifications:
A strict code of confidentiality of student information is enforced for this
position as students will be privy to such data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Previous experience in a System management setting is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft office (including MS Access Databases).
Knowledge of SQL.
Knowledge of reporting practice and presentation.
