YO-YO WEEK AT PILLOW ELEMENTARY

Dear Parents,
On Monday, November 9th, 2015, a professional yo-yo and spin top champion will conduct a program
entitled the SCIENCE OF SPIN at our school, during which the skill art of yo-yoing will be taught
during our PE classes.
Yo-yos will be provided for the classes. Buying a yo-yo is not mandatory. If your child does not have
a good working yo-yo and you wish to purchase one, the type used in the classes will be available for
$7.00, the auto-return model for $9, or the professional butterfly style ball bearing model for $11, all of
which include sales tax. All yo-yos come set up for beginners play and can be adjusted for advanced
play later as the student progresses. Spin tops and instructional videos will also be available for
$8.00, as well as a yo-yo holster for $5 and colored yo-yo string at 3/$1.00. Yo-yos will be available at
school for five days following the assembly, and allows our school to receive this program free of
charge. Cash or checks made out to Pillow PTA will be accepted. Please return the order form
with your payment.
