Read your leveled reading book aloud to your parents for 10 minutes per
night. Remember to fill out your reading log.
Turn in your reading log on Friday for
your teacher to check.
2. Literacy:
Each time you read this week, have your parents ask you some of the Book
Talk questions which are on the back of this sheet (or below on weebly). Answer them
orally.
3. Math:
Make sure that you are practicing your MAD Minute sheets that we send home
each week!!!
4. Inquiry:
We are starting our next unit of inquiry called
How we express ourselves
. To
get the children thinking about this topic we ask that they choose 3 holidays that they
celebrate with their family. They should write about how they celebrate these holidays
and be ready to share this information on Friday, November 13th with the class
