1. Literacy:

Read your leveled reading book aloud to your parents for 10 minutes per
night. Remember to fill out your reading log.
Turn in your reading log on Friday for
your teacher to check.
2. Literacy:
Each time you read this week, have your parents ask you some of the Book
Talk questions which are on the back of this sheet (or below on weebly). Answer them
orally.
3. Math:
Make sure that you are practicing your MAD Minute sheets that we send home
each week!!!
4. Inquiry:
We are starting our next unit of inquiry called
How we express ourselves
. We
thought it would be fun to get the parents involved in this unit. The children are reading
books about holidays that take place all over the world and how they are celebrated. If
any parents want to come in and talk with 2G and 2R about holidays that you celebrate
from your country the kids would love it! You could share pictures, dress wear, food,
etc. Please email your childs teacher to set up a time to do a short presentation if you
are willing to help us out. Presentations can be done anytime during November 16-27
and can last 15-30 minutes long.
