Terp That Sports Signs

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
This interactive workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation around the topic of sports. You will also have an
opportunity to practice the signs in a safe environment.
The following topics will be covered during the 2-hour workshop:
- What are the commonly used sport signs-Team signs?

- Strategies to approach sports discourse?

- What are some commonly used sports teams names, phrases,

- Tips for interpreting sports events.

etc.
-Alternative sign, conceptual choices.

- Hands-on interpreting practice using mock scenarios.

- Group discussions and participant Q&A


EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
-The participant will develop the ability to discriminate on the different sports signs that can be used for different interpreting
scenarios.
-The participant will recognize and recall the various sports signs, teams, and structures discussed.
-The participant will be able to correctly integrate sports knowledge creating a conceptually accurate interpretation.
