To Whom It May Concern,

It is my pleasure to recommend Janalynn Rollins for employment at your facility. I came to

know Ms. Rollins when I was her instructor for Fundamentals of Nursing in the ADN program.
The Fundamentals course comprised of didactic, simulated laboratory and clinical components in
long-term care and acute care. Janalynn distinguished herself with her enthusiasm for nursing
and by always putting forth 100% effort is everything that she did.
Overall, Janalynn is a very diligent student and has good analytical skills. She did an excellent
job of researching her client's needs, and demonstrated the ability to personalize nursing care to
her patients. Her understanding of pathophysiology was thorough and her documentation and

efficiently and effectively. She worked

well with her fellow students. Janalynn had 100% attendance and was on time for class.
assessments were excellent. Janalynn organized her care

Janalynn has a good rapport with her patients, and shows a caring attitude. She does an excellent

job of therapeutic communication with difficult populations. At a personal level, Janalynn is a

well-disciplined student with a pleasant personality, with a smiling presence, and is calm under
pressure.
She has proven herself to have the perseverance,

initiative, and intellectual ability necessary to

complete the Kapi'olani Nursing Program in the planned time frame. She has built on her
knowledge of working as a surgical technician for plastic surgery for 6 years prior to entering the
program. She has participated with various health related events: Relay for Life (American
Cancer Society's event), HUGS'events (Help, Understanding&, Group Support), the Great
Aloha Run and Bone Marrow Registry during her time at KCC. I would therefore highly
recommend Janalynn Rollins for employment in your facility.
Yours Sincerely,

Cr
