Job purpose
To manage and maintain the daily operations of the center.
Duties and responsibilities
Supervise staff.
Train, or provide training for, center staff.
Hire, train, and evaluate staff
Provide facility tours and information to potential families.
Prepare budgets and reports to board of directors.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
All applications must be age 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
All applicants must be able to secure a negative Tuberculosis test and a clean DHS
Central Registry Clearance.
Applicants must read and speak English proficiently.
Experience in child care required.
Experience in child care management preferred.
Degree or training in Early Childhood Education required.
Degree or training in business management preferred.
Working conditions
Job duties may require indoor and outdoor work. Duties require working with families,
children, and staff, as well as reporting to Board of Directors. Some duties may require
evening or weekend work.
Physical requirements
Job requires sitting for long periods of time, as well as computer and electronic
communication usage. Job duties may require squatting, kneeling or sitting, as well as
lifting heavy items or children.
