Teddy Bear

This will play the part of quite a predominant prop and

will be used in numerous shots, this is due to the whole
narrative theme of childhood. By using this theme the
film will shock the audience as we should associate
childhood with innocence and happiness. The teddy bear
is just a symbol of the innocence she once had. It also
means we dont want to see harm happen to the young
girl due to her still holding onto this part of her
childhood.

Cross Necklace

A common convention of the horror genre is the link to

religious connotations which I have also incorporated
into my trailer through the use of this prop. It gives the
narrative enigma to whether the young girl is possessed
or if she has come back from the afterlife either way
having a direct link to religion.

Photograph

I am planning to include a photograph of the young girl and her friend. As I

feel this was give a back story to the narrative that is happening. To have
the brother who is also the symbol of the antagonist shown in this
vulnerable and sensitive way makes the audience unsure of where their
loyalty lies.
