LOCATION REECE

WOODLAN
D
For a few of my shots I wanted a back drop of a large tree
backing onto a normal scene (car and house) this is to ensure the
realist feel of the film, making it more close to home both
metaphorically and literally. The tree works well as it is large and
overgrown which isolates you more from the outside world. It
also meant when it came to me filming I was not overpowered by
light because the large branches and leaves blocked it out to a
certain extent.
Hazards- due to the actress wearing no shows I have to ensure
that the area is safe for her to stand on, as may be old rubbish or
sharp thorns. I shall avoid any harm by removing all easy to see
items that could be dangerous and keep her shoes located very
close by so she can put them on as quickly as possible.

FIELD

This is a much wider view of the field I was

originally going to film in, although in the end
the shots that were taken at this location
werent used due to discovering the grave
yard close by. But this was an interesting
learning curve for me, as it encouraged me to
look at my work and forever improve it even if
that does result in some footage not being
used.

GRAVEYARD
This location was a very important
location within my trailer. Obviously,
the grave yard yourself is a very
conventional location for horror films
so straight away it ticked that box but
it also had a lot more to offer, with
again the use of large trees, and
having the church with large windows
to allow me to do reflection shots.
