1. Literacy:

Read your leveled reading book aloud to your parents for 10 minutes per
night. Remember to fill out your reading log.
Turn in your reading log on Friday for
your teacher to check.
2. Literacy:
Each time you read this week, have your parents ask you some of the Book
Talk questions which are on the back of this sheet (or below on weebly). Answer them
orally.
3. Math:
Make sure that you are practicing your MAD Minute sheets that we send home
each week!!!
4. Inquiry:
We have started our next unit of inquiry called
How the World Works
. Children
are becoming familiar with different forms of energy. We talked about how we can help
the Earth by conserving energy. Please interview your parent(s) and ask how they
conserve energy in the home or workplace. You can also think what you do to conserve
energy. Please write a short paragraph in your homework notebook about what you
found out. Be ready to share on Friday with the class!
