Synopsis
In the establishing shot, we will show a group of friends standing in their college courtyard after their graduation, as
they throw their graduation hats/caps in the air cheering and celebrating their special moment. When the caps go up
in the sky, using the technique of match on action the graduation hat will be changed to a fedora hat, usually worn by
country pop stars, as it falls back down the lead singer catches it and places it on his head. In the next shot the band
members would be shown collectively as the song starts playing, this performance will be showed for a few seconds.
Starting of the first verse, the scene would shift back to the narrative side of the video- the friends are seen dressing
up for their after-party in-front of a full length mirror, filmed using the technique of time-lapse. In the following scene,
the whole group of friends is shown gathering at their usual spot, a common friends place. The room would be
captured using a pan shot, which would be containing a set of couches and a bunch of floor cushions. The highlight of
the room, however, is going to be a graffiti wall. In between, a clip of the band performance would be inserted in
another location. The ambience that well create would be a very happy, lively and a colorful one. Thus, the entire
mise-en-scene would be set up using bright/flashy colours. After a couple of seconds, one of the them brings out a
cardboard box labeled with the name of our album, containing heaps of polaroid photographs of all the cherishable
memories that have been captured in the last few years spent together. A feeling of nostalgia spreads around the
room. (Glimpse of the band performance). Seeing this, two of the girls jump up from their place in excitement, eager
to have a look. In the next scene they group together in a circle, inquiring the box as each character picks out one or
two pictures to place them on the extravagant wall they had designed together, previously. The next shot would be
zoomed in showing portions of the wall, as they stick the pictures we will show a brief flashback of that particular
memory. Similarly showing another bunch of events through flashbacks. The closure of the video would be filmed
using a wide angle shot, and conclusively showing the entire wall as a representation of their fondness towards each
other, with their backs toward the camera. The performance would simultaneously be playing along with the narrative.
