1. Attached are seating charts for periods 1, 3, 5.


2. Advisory
- Students have customary seats. Record attendance at 08:10am
- Students should organize their binders and backpacks, staple
homework that must be submitted (Math!), verify their supplies
- Destiny Guevara leaves to perform the school announcements
- Sweaters/sweatshirts should be off, shirts tucked in
3. Periods 1, 3 5:
a. Stand outside door and students must deposit homework into the wire basket as their entry
into class. Place the collected homework by period on the square table in the NE corner of
room. Students work should be stapled PRIOR entering class; do not allow students to use
class stapler, and direct them get it stapled before entering class.
b. Class Rules:
- Honor yourself and everyone else
- Be truthful in all words and deeds
- Handle your possessions only
- Do whats expected, when expected
- Use no profanity or offensive language
c. Students must raise their hand to request everything; tissue, trash can, bathroom
d. Only dismiss one student every 15 minutes, and none the first and last 15 minutes of class
e. Students work cooperatively at a voice level only heard by those in their groups, and work
with only those in their groups.
f. Task 1: Pizzazz page 181-183: (30 minutes)
Remind students I will collect this and the subsequent Pizzazz pages from them the next
period as homework. They must follow the normal homework protocols (graph paper, folded,
one-sided, etc.).
Inform students I will GRADE AS AN ASSESSMENT 2 problems from each page.
Refer to page 190-193 of their text/their notes for assistance/examples
g. Break (1 minutes): students may stand up and stretch.
h. Task 2: Pizzazz pg. 150 (30 minutes)
No matter how many not completed from the previous pages, students should start on this
page
Refer to page 210-211 of their text/their notes for assistance/examples
i Break (1 minute)
j. Task 3: Pizzazz pg. 160 (30 minutes)
No matter how many not completed from the previous pages, students should start on this
page
Refer to page 222 - 224 of their text/their notes for assistance/examples
Inform students they must also write each equation in point-slope form and the standard
form, along with the slope-intercept form as expected by the exercise!

k. 10 minutes before the dismissal bell have students store their work; remind them that the
Unit Test is this Friday, and will cover all topics from Chapter 3 p181 - 228. Inform them that
repeating the H.O.T. problems, Think Smart problems, Persevere with Problems and Use
Math Tools from each lesson will help prepare for the Test!
l. Three (3) minutes before the dismissal bell have students clean up their areas and realign
the desks, Ive attached a photo of the room as to how it should look!
